Governing referent
A referent is that to which a representation refers.
The system must remain a servant of the referent, not become the governor of what it was built to find.
A sentence, proposition, model state, symbol, name, token sequence, doctrine, or prompt is not identical to its referent merely because it represents it. Representations can be true or false, adequate or inadequate, stable or drifting.
The governing referent is Jesus Christ, the Logos.
The ground is not a proposition above which truth sits as an external authority. Truth is answerability to what is. Logic governs the relationships between propositions, but it cannot independently establish their correspondence with reality.
